Attention Coaches: Need Nominations for Coach of the Year

It is that time of year again that we will be voting for Coach of the Year. We need your nominations for this special honor by Friday Sept 3rd. As you may know, we have two categories for COY that we will award this year at the CSI House of Delegates Awards Banquet on October 2nd: Senior Coach of the Year and Age Group Coach of the Year. Any USA registered coach in good standing is eligible to nominate someone for either of these awards, not just Head Coaches. In addition, once nominations close and the candidates are announced, any coach is eligible to vote for any candidate, up to two votes per team.
This year we will be requiring that if you nominate someone, you don't just give us a name. Give us a reason why you think that person is a good candidate. A short bio will do. We would like to have nominations sent to us at anthonyb@falfins.org by the 3rd, and will then close nominations and post via email and on the CSI website a list of the candidates and their bios. You will be allowed to vote for two candidates, one in each category, the same way, by emailing us at the above address. The deadline for voting will be September 20th.
Please note that if you wish to send us a nomination, or later on, a vote, you must include your name and the team you coach for. Any nominations or votes that don't include this information will be discarded. Don't just assume we will know who you are. Once two votes from your team have been received, we will accept no other votes from that team. If you have any questions regarding this process, don't hesitate to email us with them.

2010 Hale Adams Scholarship Winners Announced

Colorado Swimming would like to congratulate Katherine “Katie” McBride and Tanner Krall the 2010 Hale Adams Scholarship winners.Thanks to all the applicants, it was a hard decision as they all had accomplishments in academics, swimming, and community service.
Katie McBride swims for the Colorado Springs Swim Team. She is attending the University of Pacific in Stockton CA. She does plan to swim in college.
Tanner Krall swims for Pueblo Swim Club. He will be attending the University of Denver and is swimming in their Division I program.

CSI Open Water Championships Entries Due

The CSI Open Water Championships are due by Friday, August 7th! Please submit your entries ASAP as there is a 25 swimmer minimum particpation in order to host the event.
You may find event information and entry form on the CSI website.

Seasonal Proof of Time report posted

The Proof of Time Required report has been posted. Please note that times acheived after July 25th are not in the CSI database yet. Also Athletes with disabilities are not subject to having met the time standard. With all the reports now posted, teams have 48 hours to get corrections in.

Seasonal Championships Psych and overentered Posted

The Seasonal Championships Psych Sheets plus Ove Entered for the meet, overentered in Session 1, Over Entered Session 3, Over Entered Session 5 and Over Entered Session 6 If you are on the over enterd list you must scratch down.
